Hurricane Butterfly Modular Munitions Carry System

This premium 22-Inch rolling case is built for Departments who need a dependable, lightweight solution to protect their less-lethal munitions while on the move. The case can be configured and reconfigured to carry a wide array of common munitions, such as various types and lengths of 40mm launcher rounds, large canister grenades, medium canister grenades, Flashbangs, and 12 gauge launcher rounds. It can be configured to carry all of one type, or several types by selecting the insert layout needed from the menu.

Designed with advanced injection molding technology, this protective case is 20% lighter than traditional hard sided cases while still maintaining rugged strength and superior impact resistance. Its compact size is optimized for “grab and go!” deployments, allowing you to keep essential equipment close and avoid the risks of leaving critical gear back at the armory. Despite its small and handy size, this case can carry a large assortment of commonly used munitions. We specifically selected this size to carry enough less lethal munitions for extended stand-off scenarios, field resupply for riot officers, and to serve as a rugged transport case for tactical officers.

The munition compartments come in several sizes, for most common less lethal munitions. They connect together via slots, allowing for custom organization.

1. Small: This small cylinder-shaped pocket secures 40mm launchable rounds, but also fits small “mini” or “pocket” sized hand thrown grenades, such as the CTS and Defense Technology units. It also fits the CTS mini flashbang. Each pocket has a separate slot to secure the spoon safety lever of the grenade. This small sized insert will hold all of these munitions, allowing for the most versatility for mixing various lengths and types of 40mm, hand thrown Tactical smokes, and mini-bangs. This size fits grenades 1.41″ / 35.8mm in diameter or smaller.
2.  Medium: This medium cylinder-shaped pocket secures CTS 6200 or 6300 series – sized hand thrown canister grenades, and will fit most munitions that use the same size body. This size fits grenades 2.34″/ 59.4 mm in diameter or smaller.
3. Large: 5200 series smoke, CS and similar sized hand thrown canister grenades. This size fits grenades 2.60″ / 66mm in diameter or smaller.
